The Faművek as a business firm was establish in 1999. At that time I only made furniture to order of individual needs; mostly from wood plywood or polished MDF. Later on, both the scope of activities and the type of materials used expanded. I began to deal with renovation of antique furniture and I also worked on various replicas, including a copy of a medieval mining machine, and a old-timer motorboat.

I am a curious type of person, so I have always been interested in forms and designs that are not customary. For example, how an ostrich will look like if it is made of wood. From here a straight road led me to wooden ornaments and unique design products. I work with different types of wood such as oak, beech, ash, lime, walnut and pine. For each model, I always decide upon the the color and texture of wood. These are always the decisive factors.
